I’ve completed my CELTA course in July 2018 with OxfordTEFL. I came in with some experience but, in those 4 weeks, I learned a lot. The facilities were amazing and with a great library and resources to help me prepare the lessons. Both my peers and my tutors were amazing. They were always ready to help and give advice. With every passing lesson, I was gradually becoming a better teacher. What, initially, made interested in doing my course at OxfordTEFL was the lifetime career advice, and during the course, I had several meetings with Corinne to ask for tips building on my CV and how to prepare for interviews. After the course was done, I also did the two additional courses that OxfordTEFL offers, the Teaching Young Learners and Business English workshops, both were a good introduction to specific areas that we need to know how to approach as teachers. After I returned home I searched for a job for roughly 8 days before taking up a position as a teacher in Poland, where I’m currently working. I look back at my time in Barcelona with great fondness. All the tutors, staff and students were absolutely amazing and gave me all the necessary tools to start a new teaching career in Europe. When the time comes, I’ll definitely return to OxfordTEFL to complete my Trinity DipTESOL and to, once again, go to the little coffee shop next to the school with the really nice ladies that gave me so much wonderful food. I 100% recommend OxfordTEFL to start your teacher training and to start your new career.
